Our promise to you:

  • From every euro donated, around 89 cents go directly to the projects and therefore to the local people. The remaining 11 cents are used for administration, public relations and fundraising. Please see Finances.
  • We pursue a sustainable approach and attach great importance to the future viability of our projects. With your donation, you ensure medical care for girls and women affected by female genital mutilation in our obstetrics clinic in Ethiopia, the continuous implementation of our awareness campaign The Golden Book and support for the Waiãpi in the Brazilian rainforest with an infirmary.
  • We work transparently and informatively. We are happy to provide you with all the information you need. If you have any questions, we will be happy to answer them!
  • You will receive a donation receipt at the beginning of the calendar year, which you can claim for tax purposes. For donations up to €300.00 (amount applies per individual donation, not per year), it is sufficient to submit the transfer/deposit receipt to the tax office together with the so-called simplified proof of donation. This is available to print out at Downloads. All postage and material costs saved in this way go directly to our projects.

The Federal Ministry of Finance has cleared the way for donation receipts to be sent by email in future. We would like to promote this cost-saving method of transmission. It would be perfect if you could give us your consent via our contact form with the subject "Please send donation receipt by email". Please give us your name, your current e-mail and your address for data comparison purposes.
