Rausdorf (ots) - At the launch of TARGET-Rüdiger Nehberg's new awareness campaign on February 6, the International Day against Female Genital Mutilation, Imam Aladje Seco found clear words in a radio broadcast in Guinea-Bissau: "Fanado (creole: female genital mutilation) has no place in the Muslim religion and must be abandoned because it causes great harm to the health of girls and women."
