TARGET visits the IUMS

In November last year, Annette Nehberg-Weber was on the TARGET mission to end female genital mutilation in partnership with Islam in Doha, Qatar.

Sheikh Taha Amer, Chairman of the Council of Imams in Germany, and Dia Farrag, TARGET's Strategy and Development Advisor on this topic, were able to arrange an appointment with the Secretary General of the IUMS (International Union of Muslim Scholars). It was a hopeful exchange and in 2024 we will take further steps together for the protection of girls.
