Sponsorship Award of the "Omnis Religio" Foundation (2010)

The founders of the "Omnis Religio" foundation, Dr. Reinhard Kirste and his wife Karin, explained their decision to award the 2010 prize, which is endowed with 10,000 euros, with the words: "We would like to pay tribute to their almost unprecedented and almost unbelievable success story in their cooperation with Islam. They have succeeded in putting a stop to this inhumanity."

The annual Prize for International Understanding promotes projects with an international outlook that practice tolerance towards other religions and world views and are therefore suitable for breaking down alienation and the mentality of separation between people who think and believe differently.
