TARGET makes history: Yanomami clinic opens in the middle of the Amazon rainforest
The first indigenous clinic in Brazil has opened in the heart of the Yanomami region, in the village of Surucucu: TARGET's Yanomami Hospital. In the middle of the rainforest, around 1.5 hours by plane from Boa Vista, 13,000 Yanomami are now receiving the medical help they so urgently need.

The construction of our anniversary project is progressing. A 2,000 square meter hospital for around 10,000 indigenous people is being built in the middle of the Amazon rainforest.

News from our mission for indigenous peoples in Brazil
One, two, three health stations in the huge Munduruku area were completed this year and opened in June. They now provide medical care at three locations for this large indigenous group within their ancestral territory.
